1 DXH 01 Ex Handset with Cradle — Explosion-Proof Handset for Hazardous Areas The 1 DXH 01 Ex Handset with Cradle is a rugged, high-reliability handset module designed for integration with INDUSTRONIC’s explosion-proof intercom stations (DXE 0x5 & DXE 7x5 series). Built for use in Ex Zone 1 & 2 environments (gas atmospheres) and rated IP66 for dust and water ingress, this handset ensures reliable communication in offshore platforms, chemical plants, oil & gas facilities, and other hazardous installations across the UAE and GCC region. Robust IP66 Protection – Dust-tight and protected against heavy water jets to maintain performance in industrial or marine environments. Lightweight & Ergonomic – The handset is easy to hold and operate, even when wearing protective gloves. Secure Cradle & Automatic Hook-Off Detection – The handset locks into its cradle securely; when removed, the system detects the hook-off and maintains the call. Duplex or Half-Duplex Operation – Versatile communication modes support full-duplex or push-to-talk half-duplex depending on the system configuration. Wide Temperature Range – Made for industrial operations, supporting harsh climates from –20 °C to +55 °C or beyond depending on parent station configuration.
